wp-block-paragraph\">The world of the Zohar is populated by exceptional, extraordinary and often little-known characters. He came to Israel from the Sahara in 1950 (\u05ea\u05e9\u05f3\u05f3\u05d9) and settled at <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Tlamim\" class=\"ek-link\">Moshav Tlamim <\/a>in the Negev until his death on June 19, 1988 (\u05d3\u05f3 \u05ea\u05de\u05d5\u05d6 \u05ea\u05e9\u05de\u05f3\u05f3\u05d7). It was only after his death that his two sons, Yoel and Avner, had the notes that were in the margin of his copy of the Zohar published under the Title <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nli.org.il\/he\/books\/NNL_ALEPH990019992420205171\/NLI\" class=\"ek-link\">&#8220;<em>The Orchard of RaMaKh<\/em>&#8220;<\/a> \u05e4\u05e8\u05d3\u05e1 \u05dc\u05d4\u05e8\u05de\u05f3\u05f3\u05da (initials of Rabbi Makhlouf Kalfa). All his life, he was far from any religious or rabbinical position, living and working simply. There are very few contemporary commentaries on the text of the Zohar, but Rabbi Makhlouf Kalfa&#8217;s has the immense merit of being clear, concise and very profound, just like its author. <\/p>\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\"><em>&#8220;Let my master go before his servant. And I will lead with my slowness at the foot of the work that is before me and at the foot of the children, until I come to my master in Se\u00eer.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<cite>(Genesis 33, 14)<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n<p class=\"has-drop-cap wp-block-paragraph\">This sentence uttered by Jacob after his confrontation with Esau marks the separation of the two brothers and the promise of a future meeting. The Zohar sees this as a messianic event. Rabbi Makhlouf Kalfa writes about this in his commentary.<\/p>\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\"><em>&#8220;<\/em>In my dream I asked the King Messiah; when will you come? He answered, &#8220;And I will lead with my slowness to the foot of the work that is before me and to the foot of the children<em>.<\/em> This answer was given to me in the presence of the prophet
