Saverio Campanini

Professor of Hebrew language and literature at the Department of History, Culture and Civilization of the Alma Mater Studiorum of the University of Bologna, after having been director of research at the Institute for Research and History of Texts (CNRS ) from Paris and Lecturer at the Fourth Section of the Practical School of Advanced Studies at the Sorbonne and, previously, Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter at the Freie Universität Berlin.

His research focuses on the history of Jewish mysticism, its university studies and its reception in the Christian sphere, in particular during the Renaissance.
