Saverio Campanini


Professor of Hebrew Language and Literature in the Department of History, Culture, and Civilization at the Alma Mater Studiorum of the University of Bologna, having previously served as a research director at the Institute for Research and History of Texts (CNRS) in Paris and as a lecturer in the Fourth Section of the École pratique des hautes études at the Sorbonne, and, prior to that, as a research associate at Freie Universität Berlin.

His research focuses on the history of Jewish mysticism, its academic study, and its reception in the Christian world, particularly during the Renaissance.
